Fitment

Will it fit my truck?

Kits are universal: if the plate fully covers your old dome light opening, it fits. Pick your truck or measure the opening, then confirm two quick things.

1 What are you putting it in?

2 Or measure your dome light opening

×

Measure the hole or the old lens edge to edge, in inches. The plate has to fully cover it.

Single plate
6 × 4 in
Covers openings up to this size
Double plate
9 × 4 in
Covers openings up to this size

3 Is it an LMC replacement headliner?

4 Do you have 12v power?

  • Plates must fully cover the existing dome light opening.
  • Does not fit LMC replacement headliners.
  • 12V power only.
  • Final wiring is up to you: tie into the dome light or cargo light circuit.
Install

Mount it. Wire it. Done.

Every kit ships preassembled. Mount it over the old dome light opening and wire it in.

Mount

Drop the headliner, sandwich the front plate and backing strip over the old dome light opening, and tighten the nuts. Don't overtighten.

Wire

Black/red wire to power. Ground wire to the back of the plate. Tie into the dome light or cargo light circuit.

Light it up

Put the headliner back and hit the switch. Send us a photo — we feature installs.

Wiring varies by vehicle, so final wiring is left to you. Tip: put tape or rubber on the backs of the mounting screws so they can't ground to the cab.

Quality

Absolutely love this light, I chose the RGB single version for my 3rd gen and it was everything I hoped for. It's not super bright, it's just enough, and the quality is top notch.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How long until it ships?

Every kit is made to order by hand. Lead time is 2 weeks, and double kits are currently taking longer. US shipping is a $10 flat rate. International rates show at checkout.

Will it fit my truck?

The kits are universal: if the plate fully covers your existing dome light opening, it fits. Single plate is 6 × 4 in, double plate is 9 × 4 in. Known fits include 1st–3rd gen Dodges, GMT800s and square-body Chevys (Single) and '95–'16 F-series, 3rd/4th gen Dodges and GM trucks (Double). They do not fit LMC replacement headliners. Run the fit check or email a photo.

What's in the box?

A watermelon-style light with a real glass lens, a 6000K xenon white LED (RGB kits ship with the RGB bulb installed), and a custom-cut mirrored stainless bracket and backer plate. Kits come preassembled. You wire it in.

How does it wire up?

Two wires: black/red to power, and the existing ground wire to the back of the plate. Tie into the dome light or cargo light circuit. 12V only. Wiring varies by vehicle, so final wiring is left to you.

Why does a dome light cost this much?

You get what you pay for. Real glass lenses put out a better light pattern than plastic, the plates are mirrored stainless a bit thicker than 16 gauge, and every kit is preassembled by hand from quality U.S. materials.

Can I return it?

No. Kits are made to order, so all sales are final. If something arrives damaged, email us photos before you install it.
